Integrated World Arts Inc. is a non profit organization dedicated to increasing public understanding of the importance of preserving the arts and making quality arts education available.
Integrated World Arts Inc. will operate various programs at Integrated World Arts Inc. in DuBois, Pennsylvania or at various satellite locations secured under the direction of the co-stewards, Dennis and Terah Bussell. This team has over 40 years experience regarding cultural arts education.
Terah has extensive training in the field of fine arts with her emphasis being in dance/ movement. She has studied various styles of dance for over 20 years and received professional training from Webster University. She has both performance experience as well as teaching experience. She has worked as Dance Program Director for the Kirkwood and Webster YMCAs and has taught dance for a number of years. In addition, Terah has a great deal of experience organizing, coordinating, and implementing workshops and programs for day camps, youth groups, retreats and conferences.
Dennis is of Cherokee descent and was raised around traditional Native American culture. He has a great understanding and knowledge of Native art forms, customs and ceremonies. He also has a passion for Eastern cultures and has studied various Chinese and Korean arts for over 25 years, receiving professional training in Tai Chi under the Ting Family from Hopei, China, as well as Grand Master Young Chul Rho from Korea. He holds the rank of 3rd Dan black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and a black sash in Wing Tsun Gung Fu. He has teaching experience as well as competition experience in these art forms. In addition, Dennis has certification in Ropes Course Facilitation and adventure based learning activities. He is also a seasoned motivational speaker with an emphasis on speaking to at-risk youth.
